Ross Knepper

Ross is a full-stack roboticist who has delivered a diverse array of systems both in industry and academia. Before joining Tortuga AgTech, Ross worked in logistics and fulfillment for four years on mobile robots to move packages in the warehouse and trailers in the yard. Previously, Ross taught and did research in robotics at Cornell, MIT, and Carnegie Mellon. He has also built a motion planner for Mars rovers as well as a multi-robot system that assembles Ikea furniture and can even ask humans for help if it gets stuck.

Ross loves hiking with his wife and dog in the mountains, particularly during wildflower season. He also enjoys reading and playing old role-playing video games from the 80s and 90s.
