Nell Parker

After starting her career at Deloitte Consulting, Nell has spent the last 3+ years helping agriculture startups develop and grow their operations. Prior to Tortuga, Nell was a Director of Strategy and Operations for Cloud Agronomics, a seed-stage startup focused on measuring soil carbon in agricultural lands. She started her career in agriculture at Indigo Agriculture, a now late-stage company dedicated to helping farmers sustainably feed the planet. At Indigo, Nell led projects focused on helping the company grow - she developed plans for expansions into new geographies, stood up new products and services for growers, and shaped Indigo’s story to investors to raise capital.

Nell is a proud native of Cleveland, Ohio, and continues to cheer on its sports teams no matter what. She has been an East Coaster for some time now, living in Cambridge, MA after finishing her undergraduate degree at Amherst College. She is excited to be relocating to Colorado to enjoy the mountains, and hopefully better skiing conditions.
