Kristian Sandberg

Kristian grew up in Sweden before he moved to Boulder to earn his Ph.D. in applied mathematics, specializing in wave propagation and biological imaging. After completing his degree he worked in industries using his skills in scientific computing and computer vision to solve a wide variety of problems. Some of the projects he has worked on include seismic imaging, robotic vision for wind energy manufacturing, remote sensing for agriculture, and telemedicine. He is passionate about the environment and sustainable development and is excited to apply his skills to solve challenging, real world problems in agriculture.

In his spare time he likes to paraglide, hike, run, and raise backyard chickens.
