Andy Hall
Senior Field Robotics Engineer (UK)
Andy has been living on the South Coast of England for the last 20 years apart from an adult gap year working in New Zealand. He has had a varied career including military, fast moving consumer goods manufacturing, and teaching Science to secondary school students. After completing an MSc in Mechatronics, he has been working with Agricultural Robots for the last 3 years. He enjoys technical challenges and learning new skills. He is passionate about the environment and reducing farming related chemical pollution by the use of technology, especially robots. He is really excited to work with different robots and the team at Tortuga, solving tough farming problems and making agriculture smarter.
Outside of work Andy enjoys skiing, catamaran sailing, driving and fixing cars (electric and petrol), and designing and building 3D printers.
